![]() ![]() ![]() It didn’t take long before we were parked near Biscuit Basin again, strapping on our gear as we prepared to head off into the woods, up toward the Artemisia Geyser formation. Thanks to our dad-maneuver early exit, we cleared the Old Faithful area with relative ease, and followed a roadway route that roughly mirrored Beep’s solve from Old Faithful, we headed north, past the geysers that he believed represented clues in the poem: Solitary Geyser as his “alone in there,” Spanker Geyser for the “no paddle up your creek,” Mortar Geyser and Fan Geyser as his “heavy loads and water high” (corresponding to stories in the book), and more. ![]() It would only be a few miles’ drive from Old Faithful back over toward Biscuit Basin, where we would head onto the trail that would take us to Restless Geyser. ![]()
